FENG SHUI
Feng Shui (also known as “geomancy”) is an ancient Chinese art used to promote such things as health, happiness and prosperity. The words literally mean ‘wind’ and ‘water’.
Feng Shui, also called the Chinese Art of Placement, is a technique that is thousands of years old for bringing balance to one’s home, business and the land that surrounds them. It looks at many areas of one’s life (health, wealth, family, relationships, career, friends, fame, children, and knowledge) to determine blockages within the home or business, that might cause some type of problem, and then at the different types of “cures” that can be used to alleviate the problem. The methods for analyzing a space and the “cures” to correct the problems can vary from esoteric modalities used for centuries to technological solutions of our current timeline. Both must blend in harmony to created balance in one’s life.
The purpose of life is to create balance in all things allowing your consciousness to evolve beyond time and emotion, the duality of the illusion. Healing and working on yourself – is part of the equation – as all things are created by mathematical design / the blueprint or architecture of our consciousness program in third dimension – sacred geometry When you are in a space where feng shui has been used to create balance – you will experience it in all levels of your soul’s awareness … then you will understand.
Feng Shui is the ancient science of harmonising the natural life force energies called “Chi” within the environment.
The Ancient Chinese Masters of Feng Shui recognised that when man aligned himself with the naturally occurring forces of good energy in nature, he would experience ‘good fortune’ and when he aligned himself with disturbed, negative or stagnant energy, he would experience difficulty and obstacles. Therefore, the aim of Feng Shui is to harmonise the life force (within an environment) and the objective is to harness these enhanced energies so that they can flow favourably and increase, expanding the good fortune in people’s lives.
Literally translated, Feng Shui means ‘wind’ and ‘water’ and it describes the way in which these subtle life force energies will flow within the environment to shape the land. However, even within the simplistic translation of ‘wind’ and ‘water’ there are deeper secrets to be known about the relationship between retaining and utilising positive life force energy.
In reality Feng Shui is based upon using the principles the Ancient Masters of Feng Shui observed and discovered thousands of years ago. These principles include the use of Feng Shui Astrology to harmonise the flow of Chi; the art of arrangement of objects within the environment; the organisation, grouping and aligning of people so that they can receive this increased positive energy from the environment.
The study of Feng Shui includes determining the form and shape within an environment, understanding how the life force distributes and travels, as well as the more intricate understandings of the Lo Pan compass and how time and space measurements will influence the environment. Then, the interpretation of Feng Shui incorporates proper alignment to the environmental forces as well as arrangement, placement, harmonising and re-balancing to create the best conditions for each person uniquely.
The Pa Kua
One important Feng Shui formula concerns the eight main life Aspirations, corresponding to the four cardinal Directions and the four inter-cardinal Directions of the compass (Lo Pan).
Each of these Aspirations is symbolized in the octagonal shaped Pa Kua, one of the most basic Feng Shui tools, which identifies where the particular Aspirational locations lie in your home or workplace, allowing you to energize them as required. This will stimulate positive chi (life force) flow and create good Feng Shui for you.
The true components of Feng Shui include the study of Form and Shapes within the environment; a study of the five elements; the study of mountains and (Feng Shui) geography; a study of the soil types; a study of waterways; a study of heaven, man and earth; the study of Chinese astrology (for people); the study of Feng Shui astrology – The Flying Stars System (for buildings) and an analysis of the Feng Shui astrology for people within the buildings, etc, and the list goes on.
Feng Shui (Pronounced “Feng Shway” or “Fung Shui”or Fung Shuway,” depending if you are Mandarin, Cantonese, or American) means wind and water. It is rapidly becoming a standard practice for creating the ideal and balanced environment in which to live and work.
Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art and science examining the natural and “built” environment and has been practiced for thousands of years. This environment can be at the office, in your home, in a building, or on real property. It is a blend of Architecture, Interior Design, Chinese mathematics and common sense. A Feng Shui analysis examines the surrounding environment, the building, how the people interact with the building and looks at time-related factors. Based upon these considerations, recommendations can be made on how to improve your relationship with the environment around you.
