Shanghai De La Coast

I heard that a new spot opened on the bund!  I know it’s open for a while now, but I’ve never been.  They say it has a great view of the Shanghai bund.  I heard it’s 1 on the bund but it’s not really 1 on the bund.  The place is called De La Coast, the name card just says 5f&6F YanAn Dong Road.  The telephone number is 6330 2615.  The web site is www.delacoast.com.

I finally found the place and it’s really great.  The outside of the place does not look that good but when you step out of the elevator your in a new world.  The interior is beautiful; I think it’s a great place to take a date.  The music is not too loud and you can talk.  The also have terrace seats for the ones that love to brave the heat!

The top floor has a great V.I.P room and the outside terrace have these beds that you can just lay back and see the bund view.  The V.I.P room seats 10 people very comfortably.  It’s a very nice place but I do not think they advertise enough!  It’s owned and run by a Japanese guy!  I went on a Wednesday night but it was empty.  The best part of the place is that the drinks are not outrageous in price and they have a great wine list!  The view is equal if not better than 5 on the bund.  The service was good and friendly!
