This is an expensive restaurant. It isn’t expensive-elegant or
expensive-I-feel-out-of-place-and-uncomfortable. It is
expensive-intriguing. I paid here what I would expect to pay for the
same experience in the US. (Usually the you pay much less for food in
China than you would expect to pay in the US.)

Okay, that said, it is wonderful. The entryway is … I can’t describe
it. But it is like you are being drawn into a mystical tunnel that
opens into a mirrored garden in India. That is a very lame description
of a very cool restaurant.

Everything we ordered was delicious. The portions were a bit small.
Order one main dish plus one side per person. The “local” house red
wine is from California and goes surprisingly well with Indian food.

I don’t go to the same restaurant twice, but I’d make an exception for Tandoor.
